Guiding our journey each month is a Divine Feminine Archetype and associated theme from the ancient Tantric lineage.
These Archetypes are called the Mahavidyas: The Great Wisdom Goddesses.
These Goddesses are fierce and powerful. Their purpose is to activate the remembrance of your Divine Feminine Essence, release all that is blocking you from your highest expression, and guide you to your greatest liberation, potential, and pleasure.
The Mahavidyas are very powerful archetypes to work with. They only call those who are ready to embody and play in their fierce, powerful, transformational energies. Each of these Goddesses embodies a different aspect of the divine feminine and offers unique gifts, activations and lessons.
1. Ganesha: Sacred Obstacles. Known as the Lord of Beginnings and Remover of Obstacles, our journey begins by recognizing the blessings and lessons in our sacred obstacles, and clearing energy and space for all that we desire to enter.
2. Shiva: Sacred Masculine. Shiva is known as the Destroyer or the Transformer. A part of our journey is honouring the divine masculine outside and within ourselves, before we begin working with the Goddesses for the rest of the year.
3. Kali: Femme Fatale. Known as the goddess of time, evolution, and destruction. She is fierce and passionate, embodying the power of transformation and liberation. During this month we burn all that no longer serves us to the ground, and tap into the fiercest version of ourselves.
4. Tara: Unstoppable Purpose. The goddess of compassion, humanity and protection. We create a clear vision of our purpose, practice Bhakti yoga, and tap into our hearts and highest expression of love.
5. Tripura Sundari: Sacred Sensuality. She represents beauty, play, erotic innocence and sacred sensuality. As we play in her energy, we awaken and embrace the erotic feminine, as well as our inner playful child, and dive into the senses to experience the world around us more deeply.
6. Bhuvaneshwari: Cosmic Consort: The goddess of magic and infinite possibilities. She invites us to expand beyond what we previously believed to be possible for ourselves.
7. Bhairavi: Kundalini Shakti. The fierce warrioress goddess. She guides us to awaken our energy centres (chakras) and activate our kundalini to live a life fully TURNED ON.
8. Chhinnamasta: Sexual Sovereignty. She symbolizes raw, sexual power and expression; releasing the ego and activating your primal, erotic feminine nature and gifts.
9. Dhumavati: Empress of the Void. She reminds us of the beauty and power in all stages of life. She invites us to look at our fears and conquer them, to love and accept ourselves fiercely and unapologetically, despite the pressures society puts on us.
10. Bagalamukhi: She Wolf. We tap into our wild side and our ability to unapologetically hunt for, and attain, all that we desire.
11. Matangi: Empowered Creatrix. She represents the untamed, spontaneous spirit of the feminine. We tap into the power of our wombs and who we are as powerful creatrixs.
12. Kamala: Prosperous Priestess. The lotus goddess and the tantric form of Lakshmi. She represents wealth, prosperity, beauty and transformation. We tap into our rich bitch energy and embody wealth!
